Detoxing in a retreat setting is A LOT EASIER than doing it at home. Why?
  • On a detox retreat, someone else does the deciding, the shopping, the juicing, the washing up, makes the broth, prepares the enema fluids... etc. Detoxing can be time consuming and exhausting - especially if you're still working, looking after family members, having to carry on with your 'roles' in society etc. 
  • In a retreat setting, you don't have to think about anything - there's a yoga class, so you go; there's a meditation session, so you go; there's a talk on Healthy Living, so you go... - no decisions, no organising... and lots and lots of time to relax, to sleep, to lie in the sun, to swim, to laugh, to simply be.
