Over the years of supporting people through detox programmes, I have met many people whose participation in a yoga detox retreat was for a particular health issue, and so often, the simple process of detoxing, alkalising and harmonising the body, mind and spirit is enough to rid the person of the condition. A detox creates a healthy environment within the body so that the body can heal itself.
