The Yoga Holiday is all about enjoying the abundance of nature and life. There are two yoga classes each day, meditation sessions, talks on yoga philosophy, two delicious and healthy meals each day and still time to relax. The venue is the charming Portuguese quinta - Quinta da Rosa - in the village of Figueira, near Salema. Situated in the hills of southern Portugal, the house is a perfect spot for a yoga holiday. It boasts a lovely meditation rock garden, a private swimming pool, an outside yoga deck and a number of relaxing and shaded outdoor terraces. The interior and exterior of the villa is very charming, clean and comfortable. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings, arched windows, and lovely mahogany floors and doors. It is a very charming and modern house that has a classic and vintage style. If possible, the Yoga practice will be on the shaded outside deck; if it's too windy / cold / wet then we do yoga indoors and sometimes 'yoga on the beach' sessions might be an option. The house comfortably sleeps 12 bed people. The 4 spacious rooms are divided into 2 double rooms and 2 shared rooms. Showers and toilets are shared. The shared rooms sleep up to 4 yogis and are female only. The double rooms can be shared with another participant (same gender) or with a partner, friend or family member. Single rooms are not available at Quinta da Rosa itself, but can be booked in the neighbourhood - 1 or 2 rooms are usually reserved for our holidays at nearby guesthouses, which are 5 to 10 minutes walk away. |
