This 10-night yoga holiday is about enjoying - enjoying Yoga (asana, mediation, yoga philosophy), sunshine, beach, sea and relaxation time. There will be two blocks of 4 days of yoga, and the middle day is free for people to go on trips or to relax as they wish. Diana, the owner of the venue will help to organise any trips.
The Venue - Kailasam The venue is situated in the seaside resort of Kovalam, about 25 minutes' from Trivandrum airport. The house is in a quiet part of the village, three minutes' walk along a foot path back from the beach. There is a large yoga shala under a thatched coconut roof which is completely shaded and has views over the garden. There is an upstairs dining room where brunch is served, and a relaxation area with day beds and chairs. Both have lovely views over coconut and banana plantations. Here is also a kitchen where guests can make hot drinks at any time, and drinking water is provided. There is wi-fi. So, this is a great area to chill out in or have a nap. There are 8 en-suite rooms, with hot showers, ceiling fans, reading lights, and mosquito nets over the beds and on the windows.
